Technical department

The STI Plastics technical department includes specialists in equipment design and manufacture in addition to experts in electromechanics.

Mission:

The technical department is responsible for:

• coordinating and monitoring the construction of “pilot” or “series” equipment when this is done by STI Plastics’ partners and inexpensive external resources
• developing specific machinery, in conjunction with the Research and design department
• carrying out productivity studies when optimising manufacturing processes
